Hi, I'm Hazel Heywood...

... and yes, Buster and I share a surname.  Fun fact: his came first!  My spouse and I chose it when we got married because neither of our last names sounded good with the other's first names.  I'm a transgender guy who's old enough to know better, but young enough not to care.  I live in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, and Grindark Studio was born out of my love for all things bright, colorful, and odd.   I think the world has enough drab, depressing, and ordinary things in it, and that people can overlook the extraordinary in favor of their comfort zones.  So it's my mission as an artist to bring as much color and non-conformity to my creations as possible.  I believe that it's possible to set firm boundaries and be kind at the same time, that systems are meant to change with the world around them, and that everyone deserves basic human decency and kindness.
